Thank you very much for supporting Chabad of Charlottesville. By donating and sharing this GoFundMe page, you are contributing to the healing, safety, and care needed in the wake of the recent hateful, heartbreaking alt-right rally.
As Charlottesville has become a flashpoint in these troubling times, the Chabad house at the University of Virginia requires increased security. This week, the directors, Rabbi Shlomo and Channa Mayer, met with a security consultant and the costs discussed are not insignificant.
Any amount that you can contribute will help tremendously to defray the costs of cameras, motion-sensors, security guards at dinners and holiday services, and other security measures. The sooner we can raise the money, the sooner these measures can be implemented.
