Center for Attachment & Trauma Services, Inc. (CATS) was created in 2005 to address one of the most important concerns our society faces today--loss of attachment. Research reveals that loss of attachment promotes uncaring, dishonest, and frequently violent behavior. Now more than ever Americans are leading fast-paced, high-stress lives which lead to loss of attachment. When attachment needs are not met, people develop destructive behaviors resulting in problematic relationships in the workplace, school, and community. CATS offers an antidote to this trend of disconnection assisting families in building healthy relationships and secure attachments.
