About Center
CENTER is a nonprofit organization with the mission to support socially and environmentally engaged lens-based projects with education, funding, public platforms, and partnerships. CENTER brings exposure to artistic excellence, and creates fellowship among artists and influential members of the photographic and art community. The programs include the $5,000 Project Grants; The CENTER Awards, the Callanan Photographic Teaching Award; and Review Santa Fe Photo Festival, an annual conference that offers portfolio reviews and $10k in scholarships. Exhibitions and discussions of award winning works are held in conjunction with the programs.
