CDAIDE's Emergency Fund for Hospitality Workers
What would you normally spend eating out this week? Could the money you would have spent at restaurants and coffee shops help hospitality workers who are not able to support their families during this unprecedented time?
Imagine you work at the local diner, and customers are drying up. At first, your hours get cut, and then you get sent home. You work hard but have barely been making ends meet as it is. How can you pay your rent and feed yourself and your child now that your income is in jeopardy?
During this crisis, the needs of restaurant and hotel workers in our community are going to be greater than ever before.
Help CDAIDE to meet these needs by donating to support housing stability and food security for restaurant and hospitality workers in greater Coeur d’Alene. Those in need are referred by managers or co-workers and fully vetted. 100% of funds raised will go directly to support emergency needs for workers right in our community and are fully tax-deductible.
