Phoebe's Readathon for CBG Arts
I decided to do a readathon because it is not right what’s going on in the world. People aren’t treated equally and I want to help in some way.
My PE teachers, Braulio and Brevin Archer, are a part of a community arts program called CBG ARTS which performs plays and helps schools in LA to do their own plays. Their goal is to use the arts to change young people’s lives. My goal is to read 20 books by the end of the summer to help raise money for them. I will update this page and will tell you about each book I read.
I would love to have your support!
Thank you so much,
Phoebe
About CBG Arts:
CBG ARTS is a 501c3 non profit that uses the arts to EMPOWER, EQUIP and ENCOURAGE communities through the arts.
Our theater troupe (such as the cast of “Hello America”) reflects the urban voice and uses their voices and gifts to shed light in dark times, to mirror the disenfranchised and the voiceless, to illuminate and stimulate thoughts that are life changing, and to provide a forum for all who experience to come together as a healthy community.
