For 15 dedicated years, Bonnie Staubitz has poured her heart into Wakulla County Animal Control and her own Cauzican Rescue, saving countless animals and transforming lives in our community. Bonnie’s selflessness and passion for animals are unmatched—she has given her all without expecting anything in return, always willing to help those in need without a second thought. As Bonnie moves on from her role, we have a unique opportunity to give back to the woman who has given so much to us. Every donation, big or small, is a way to say “thank you” to a true hero in our community.

Bonnie is now considering a move to Blakely, Georgia, but she faces one big obstacle: a fenced-in yard for her new property. To continue her rescue work and provide a safe, secure space for her current and future rescues, she needs our support.
