Support CATS of Safety Harbor's Vital Work
2024 was a good year for CATS of Safety Harbor. I trapped dozens of cats and kittens. Most were TNVR'd (Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return), but all of the kittens were fostered, socialized, and then adopted to indoor homes.
But, 2024 was also a sad year, with several hurt and sick community cats. Some of the cats needed expensive vet care in an effort to save them. However, I had to euthanize 5 cats that had no hope and to end their suffering. The vet bills were higher this year than ever before.
Every day, CATS of Safety Harbor (and its volunteers) feed between 16 and 18 community cats in the industrial area plus an additional 10 cats. Cat food has become expensive, and good quality cat food is very expensive. At $0.80/day/cat, that's more than $500/month, just for cat food. I have tried to provide the food to volunteers on an 'as needed' basis. As a result, the CATS of Safety Harbor bank account is perilously low.
We need your help to keep up with the need to give these cats a safer and healthier life. Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $50. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support. I've included information about CATS of Safety Harbor below.
TNVR for free-roaming community cats. Feeding, fixing, and vaccinating abandoned cats, fostering kittens, reducing the population of unwanted cats.
