Teresa's campaign for Casa Mision De Fe
In loving Memory of Raul F. Rodriguez, “Papa Raul” - Misión Casa de Fe
In 2004, while Raul Rodriguez, “Papa Raul”, was in his 8th year of retirement, he and his loving wife Tere Rodriguez, “Mama Mila”, were called to minister to young children in Tecoluca, El Salvador. They traveled back and forth year after year from Pacifica, Ca to El Salvador providing the children of Tecoluca food, clothing and education but most of all the Good News of Jesus. Through their efforts, countless donations and selfless sacrifices, they were able to purchase land in Tecoluca in 2018 and broke ground in August 2019. Casa de Fe sanctuary was completed in March 2020. Unfortunately, “Papa Raul” was unable to see first hand the fruit of their labor due to his valiant battle against cancer. On early Sunday morning, November 22, 2020, at the age of 90, “Papa Raul” peacefully left this world and went to his eternal home with Jesus. He was surrounded by his 9 children, grandchildren and the love of his life, Tere.
His desire would be for Tere, “Mama Mila”, to continue the ministry that God called them to years ago, by helping the children he so loved unconditionally to find hope, healing and education but most of all a purpose-filled life with Jesus. Because “Papa Raul” lived a simple, humble, selfless life, we are asking that in lieu of flowers, you would consider making a donation to Mision Casa de Fe in his memory.
