Big Hearts Big Barks Foundation

Hi friends. I would like to introduce you to  STORM, the 42nd foster dog to live in my home. As many of you know, Jed and I have been heavily involved in rescue for quite a few years. And in that time, we have had the pleasure of helping many dogs by opening up our hearts and home - some pups stay only a short while before finding their forever homes and others have been long-timers. Storm has now reached the status of “long-timer” as we have had her in our home since September 2018. There are many reasons why it's difficult for some dogs to find the right home - sometimes it's medical, but more often than not, it's behavioral.   Storm is a beautiful, loving, snuggly, playful young dog who should have found her forever home by now, and although she has progressed  in her socialization & manners, she still has a way to go to make her suitable for a wider range of homes. 

That is why I am coming to you, my friends. I need to raise $1800.00 for Storm to go to a board-and-train program with a reputable trainer approved by Carolina Big Hearts Big Barks Rescue. Just like most rescues out there, CBHBB is a small, non-profit group of volunteers that saves dogs from certain death every single day. Each dollar donated counts  towards saving another dogs life.  Specialized training is not something most rescues can offer without donor support, and that is why I'm coming to you for help in getting Storm the training she needs.
