Agua para el Sediento (Water for the Thirst)
Now, imagine children having to walk more than three miles each day with an empty stomach to be able to get this liquid (water) so important for our health. Our mission as a Tribu (Tribe) is to give children from Wayuu Colombia a better childhood without, at least, drinkable water restriction. As we know our body is composed of 70% of water, when dehydrated we feel tired and sleepy, headaches, lack of energy, confusion or irritability just to name a few.
Tribu Koratarí and The Wayuu Foundation are committed to change the lives of this children by building a strong foundation for their physical, mental, emotional, and social development that prepares them for a lifetime full of dreams.
