Annual Cape May Polar Bear Plunge

We’re taking the plunge—literally!—for the incredible men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard. On December 7, we’ll brave the icy waters of Cape May to show our support, and we need your help to make a difference.

➜ We are raising money to benefit the Cape May Maritime Museum's current restoration project of the Motor Lifeboat CG-36538 [circa 1952].

❄ As the [before and after] cover image depicts, the January 3, 2022 coastal snowstorm severely damaged our workshop roof. Thankfully, no volunteers were on site at the time and our lifeboat was left unscathed! This untimely setback unfortunately caused about a five-week delay to our project's completion schedule; but now that the new roof has been fully installed, our crew is finally back to work.

$ Our budget, that is very limited, is earmarked for boat specific restoration items only. Thus, this is where we could truly use your help in donating to the replacement of the workshop roof. Any gift of any amount will be greatly appreciated and really go a long way towards reaching our ultimate goal.
