Hurricane Milton and Helene wreaked havoc in Florida on October 9, 2024 and September 26, 2024 respectively. Other states have been devastated by this storm as well. Residents who were directly affected included those who could not afford the extremely high costs of insurance during these trying economic times or were unable to obtain insurance altogether. Some have limited insurance coverage and cannot afford repairs or rebuilding. This includes those in the military, with young children, and senior citizens.

Entire neighborhoods have been submerged, families displaced, and livelihoods lost. But in the face of such overwhelming tragedy, we have the power to make a difference together.

CAP NATION (Crisis Assistance Programs) is a South Florida-based 501c(3) charitable organization formed solely in support of those harmed by catastrophes in Florida. Most of our volunteers are property insurance professionals who regularly see the devastation and distress caused to all walks of life due to hurricanes. We launched this Hurricane Helene Relief Fund to provide immediate and long-term support to those impacted by this disaster. Every dollar raised will go directly to:

• Providing emergency shelter, food, and water to families in need, including local police and firefighters working tirelessly in these neighborhoods.

• Supplying medical aid and necessary supplies to those injured or displaced.

• Helping repair and rebuild homes.

• Offering long-term support for communities as they recover and rebuild.
