Welcome to Canine Concierge’s GoFundMe page! Our journey was sparked by a deeply personal and transformative moment—a tragedy that led to a powerful purpose. After the sudden loss of Leo, our founder’s beloved Kuwaiti rescue dog, we set out to honor his memory by creating something truly meaningful. Today, Canine Concierge Corporation is dedicated to offering the healing power of animal-assisted therapy (AAT) to our Fairfax County, VA community, free of charge.
Our Mission: Healing Through Connection
Animals have an extraordinary ability to connect with us on a profound level, bringing comfort, joy, and healing. At Canine Concierge, we are committed to enhancing lives and lifting spirits through AAT. With the support of kind-hearted donors, we bring therapy dogs to hospitals, nursing homes, senior centers, rehabilitation facilities, and even police stations across Fairfax, VA—places where the impact of these visits is truly life-changing. As a 501c3 nonprofit , we are transparent, accountable, and fueled by compassion.
Why We’re Raising Funds
Every dollar raised will go directly toward advancing three main goals:
1. Awareness and Advocacy
We believe in the power of awareness to drive change. Through community outreach, storytelling, and educational programs, we’re working to spread the word about the remarkable benefits of AAT. But we don’t stop there—we’re also advocating for insurance coverage, fighting to make AAT accessible to all, regardless of financial background. Your support fuels our advocacy efforts and helps us expand the reach of this essential therapy.
2. Providing Free AAT Services
Therapy should be a right, not a privilege. Donations to our GoFundMe cover costs for free AAT sessions in Fairfax, ensuring that anyone who needs healing can experience it. Imagine your contribution helping to bring joy, reduce anxiety, and support emotional recovery for people who may not have access otherwise.
3. Launching Our Practice in Fairfax County
Our dream is to raise $200,008 ($52,000 per quarter) to continue the launch and sustain our practice, serving our community with compassion and care. Your donation supports the purchase, training, transportation, and care of our therapy dogs, enabling us to offer entirely free sessions to those in need, and institutions.
