“You want us to create the FIRST 365-day cancer devotional book? Do you know how much work that will take??”
This was Karen’s reply to God’s CRAZY idea for Cancer Companion’s project Embracing Hope with Certainty: Daily Reflections from inside the Cancer Journey.
She continues, "To show me He was not kidding, God started tossing into my life wonderful authors who were cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers willing to donate their time and talents to this CRAZY idea from God."
Embracing Hope with Certainty: Daily Reflections from Inside the Cancer Journey is a 365-day devotional book written by Christian authors who have been there. As cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers, these authors share their sightings of God’s hope in the cancer journey. Each reflection is filled with scripture, prayer and the heart of its author.
All proceeds will be used to accomplish our goal.
OUR GOALS:
- For cancer patients and their loved ones to receive a free daily devotional each day by text or email
- For those who prefer the written word, we will also establish a printed and e-book version of all 365 cancer devotionals
There will be 1.9 million new cancer patients this year. It's time for us to give these cancer patients and their loved ones the daily dose of God's hope they need.
This project is all about generosity. So, for the fundraiser, EVERY donor will receive EVERY reward. That's right, as other donors contribute and we reach new reward levels, you will continue to receive rewards!
