Every year, over one million people receive the call that will change their lives forever: You have cancer. Suddenly, the world disappears as you try to wrap your head around the news. It’s a diagnosis no one wants to hear and one too many have to face.
The Cancer Care Cup understands the fear, uncertainty, and struggles that come with a cancer diagnosis. That’s why we are on a mission to make things a little bit easier for those who are battling this disease.
Since the inception of the Cancer Care Cup in 2017, we have contributed over $260,000 to assist patients with funds for expenditures that would otherwise be financially difficult for the patient or their caregivers.
Now, more than ever, patients need our help. Those receiving help from our patient assistance fund have been carefully identified by social workers and have the highest need. Most are underinsured or have lost income while battling cancer.
