My name is Caleb Gober with Canaan Land Ministries in Autaugaville, AL. My dad and mom, Mac and Sandra Gober, started this ministry close to 40 years ago. My dad went to be with The Lord in 2014. Now my Mom, Brother Joshua and Myself are continuing on with the vision.
Canaan Land is a ministry that helps men who have struggled with drugs, alcohol, or any life-controlling issues. Their lives have been completely destroyed and broken through addiction. We provide these men with a Love-Filled-Home for one year.
We have never charged a man, their family, or taken money from the government in close to 40 years now. We believe it’s our job to cast the vision, and it’s God’s job to speak to hearts. For close to 40 years God has done just that. People all over have heard the vision, and responded with a heart of compassion.
Every year we hold a conference called Greater Glory. This conference brings in men and women of God to impart into the men whose lives have been broken, as well as to all that can come and attend. We have seen notable miracles at this conference.
Every year we look to improve! Our goal is to reach $5,000 dollars to obtain the right tools such as sound equipment and lighting for this conference. Not just to have an excellent sound in the house, but to improve our online presence.
The Bible says in Galatians 6:7 Phillips Translation; "Don’t be under any illusion: you cannot make a fool of God! A man’s harvest in life will depend entirely on what he sows."
Galatians 6:10 KJV Says, “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”
As we have therefore opportunity! Opportunity is a set moment in time that makes it possible to do something. Every person has special moments and opportunities in life to partner with a vision. That’s what this is; a vision. A vision to create a moment in time that’s bigger than all of us ... souls are saved, and lives are changed! T.E.A.M represents ... Together Everyone Achieves Much! When we accept the opportunity to sow where God wants us to sow, then God makes it His personal responsibility to bring in the harvest.
This is beyond just giving. This is engaging in a spiritual law of seed-time and harvest. The sound equipment is very necessary to increase what we’re able to do, and the people on the music team that we’re able to have. We also believe that having efficient tools in the area of sound, dramatically helps create an atmosphere in which people can receive.
It doesn’t get any more biblical or spiritual than sowing into a vision that’ll shake and transform history for the Glory of God.
This is a history maker moment to sow seed into a vision that is saving lives.
