Hello from Campbell, OH. A small city outside of Youngstown, OH
Campbell Cruelty and Humane Rescue is a newer group to the area and we assist the Campbell Police Dept when they have an abused or neglected animal.
We received a call from the Fire Chief and were asked to help with 20 adult cats and 5-4 week old kittens living in an abandoned house that is condemned and must be torn down. We could not turn our back on this forgotten cats and put a plan in place to help save them
This is how you can help!! We know these cats have NEVER seen a vet. We are estimating on the low end each cat will need $200 in vet care(basic care only) which we know many will need more.
We need funds to help pay for their vet care, meds, treatment plans. We know they will all have fleas, ticks, worms and need to be fixed along with a variety of illness.
We don't have much but we are determined to help them all.
If any cats are friendly they will be placed up for adoption with our PetSmart Charity partners and any feral cats will be going to our new program we are in the process of starting called The Catio.
Cats in the catio will have a warm, heated outdoor catio and access to wholesome food and water.
