Elliot's Bar Mitzvah: A clean bed for every child!
Hi! I'm Elliot Betts... Want to join me in making a difference? In honor of becoming a Bar Mitzvah, I'm helping to create clean, safe space for kids to sleep... and it all starts with sleepaway camp with the Swift Youth Foundation.
Camp Swift has a dual mission to provide youth who are economically disadvantaged with the opportunity to attend overnight camp while providing high school students with the meaningful experience of being a positive mentor for kids in need.
Much of the clothing and personal items these kids will need for camp (and throughout the year) are GIVEN to them when they arrive at Camp Swift... and I want to ensure they all receive a new set of sheets, a pillow and a comforter (and even a sleeping bag)! They will love having their very own bedding at camp and they get to take it home with them as well. For many of these kids - it might be their first pillow or blanket that is THEIR OWN!
You can help by donating towards my campaign to provide these items for campers who will attend the 2024 Camp Swift session.

- $36 - purchases 1 bedding set (1 set of sheets, comforter & pillow for a camper)
- $100 - purchases 4 sleeping bags for campers to keep long after camp is over!
- $140 - purchases bedding sets AND backpacks for the school year for 3 campers
You can also support my Camp Swift campaign by dropping off CLEAN, gently used kids clothing, bags, shoes and sleeping bags at my home on January 20th & February 11th (we will send everyone reminder emails about these dates).
