On November 20th, I will be running my first full-length marathon. If you had told me a year ago that I would be training for a marathon in a year, I would have laughed. I would not be where I am today without the help of Dr. Richard Brown, whom the universe graciously brought into my life in March 2021. With his help, I was able not only to regain my health, but to begin living my life more fully than I could have ever imagined, with a newfound appreciation for the blessing of a healthy mind and body.

Luckily, I am not the only fortunate individual who benefits from Dr. Brown's endless compassion, kindness and wisdom. Dr. Brown and his wife, Dr. Patricia Gerbarg,

founded the Breath-Body-Mind Foundation (BBM). BBM is a global organization dedicated to teaching evidence-based, breath-centered techniques to relieve stress, depression and trauma in adults and children. Their work has included crisis relief related to the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks, the Haiti earthquake, the Gulf Horizon oil spill, slavery in Sudan, genocide in Rwanda, and many more. Currently, BBM is running a program with live free webinars (with translation) for families in Ukraine and the surrounding countries. Ukrainians say that this 2-hour program has helped them feel much calmer and has allowed them to breathe more easily amidst the raging war. This program is very costly to run and is kept alive solely through donations.

It would be my greatest joy to be able to give at least $1,800 towards the incredible work that the BBM Foundation is doing to help thousands worldwide. With your help, I believe I can hit my $1,800 goal, or exceed it. Any donation, no matter how small, would be GREATLY appreciated.
