Protect Young Athletes: Helmet Donations to Schools
Every child deserves to play the sport they love—safely. But currently, too many students in underfunded schools across our communities are playing without proper helmets. That puts them at serious risk for traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), which can have detrimental lifelong consequences.
That’s why we started BrainShield, a student-led nonprofit dedicated to raising money and donating high-quality helmets to schools and youth sports programs that can’t afford them. We work closely with educators, coaches, and athletic trainers to ensure that protective headgear goes where it’s needed most.
