Bradford Cares for its Healthcare Workers

 

If you are looking for a simple way to thank our local hospital healthcare workers please consider donating to our new ‘Bradford Cares” fund dedicated to providing meals to the BRMC staff.

 

So many in our community have experienced, firsthand or through the care of a loved one, the impact of our nurses, caregivers and workers. In the face of all the current challenges, these are the people who go to work to provide critical care for our loved ones in spite of those challenges. They are on the frontline every day. Let’s come together to show support for this group of special people by simply providing meals for them during their breaks and while the hospital cafeteria is closed.

 

• All food/meals will be obtained from local restaurants.  This also means that your donation is going towards supporting our local restaurants.

• All money donated will be used and (only) go towards having meals delivered and distributed by the BRMC Nursing Supervisor(s).
• Restaurants will bill the Bradford Hospital Foundation who will utilize the funds raised to pay the food bill. A local committee has been formed to guide and support this effort.

• Meals will be delivered to cover both the 7AM to 7PM and the 7PM to 7AM shifts.

 

We think it is especially important to get this started now that we can provide meals over the holidays that when we are with family members we can show our appreciation for those away from their families who are taking care of our community.
