Boys & Girls Aid offers programs focused on preventing homelessness for youth and young adults by providing safety and the opportunity to put long term plans in place. 

The Safe Place shelter in Washington County is a 24/7 drop-in program where youth can access essential services while longer-term housing is found.

The greatest gift a child can receive is providing them a home, with unconditional love and guidance to help them grow up in this World.  In 2008 and 2011, Jen and I took a leap of faith and partnered with Boys & Girls Aid in Oregon and two loving birth mothers and brought home two beautiful children.  Both adoptions are open  which allows our children to have relationships with their birth families.  Through this process we have learned about and have met many children who are waiting for the gift of a loving family.  We also know of many who would love to adopt a child but are faced with the financial barrier which exists in order to bring a child into their home.  Boys & Girls Aid has been helping families for 130 years and we want to help them continue with their vision of supporting children and families.  Your contribution will help off set the costs of adoption for a family in need.
