About Bordens Marsh Foundation

The Bordens Marsh Foundation has the express dedicated purpose of preserving and propagating American history, which naturally includes African American history, through education programs offered at a Virginia Historic Landmark on the National Register of Historic Places. Each session is presented by a prominent historian, offered to the public free of charge and open to students of all ages. General format is a lecture followed by a question and answer session. Learning sessions on documented history offer opportunities to examine the truth about our nation's past, analyze problems, and promote greater understanding. The value of these programs is high, immediate, and sustainable for long years into the future.
