Roger W. Breeze Jr. Genealogy Scholarship
Nearly one year ago, we mourned the loss of Roger Breeze, a magnificent husband, father, brother, and friend. As we near the anniversary of his passing, we are honoring his memory with a new memorial scholarship in his name, celebrating one of his greatest passions--genealogy. Housed at the Bolton Historical Society, on whose Board Roger served as a dedicated member, the Roger Breeze Memorial Genealogy Scholarship will be available to Bolton students at Nashoba Regional High School, interested in exploring their own family histories, through a competitive essay submission.
We are asking you to help us realize this vision to honor Roger's memory and build an enduring love of history and genealogy in Bolton's young people, by making a gift today. Every dollar of your tax-deductible gift will go toward fueling the curiosity and learning of Bolton students, while building a lasting legacy for Roger and his passion.
Roger's loving wife, Leslie Breeze shares her enthusiasm for this wonderful tribute, noting,
"I feel so proud of your energies to honor Roger. I do feel he would love the thought of high schoolers digging into family histories and maybe "GET THE BUG"...Roger was so excited to discover his own and my family history, friends' and many local town folks' family history. After so many years he was so excited to finally track his own family back to the Mayflower!”
Please consider making a gift of any amount, and join us as a vital participant in this loving tribute to a man so many of us loved.
Thank you on behalf of the Organizing Committee:
Mary Ann Fitzgerald, Joanne Gaynor, Alyssa (Gaynor) Limerick, Etta Davis, Sarah Davis, Shirley Sefton, Duane Henry, Mary Ciummo, Kelly Collins, and Kim (Rausch) Langlais
