REMARKABLE: Since 2020, each year Blessings for Brevard ("BFB") has helped over 700 NEEDY families by locating donors and delivering donated beds, furniture, washers, dryers, refrigerators, kitchen sets, linens, etc. FREE! BFB works closely with County Agencies that pre-screen families -- who are transitioning from Homelessness, Shelters, or "Couch-to-Couch" survival -- and help them move into a modest furnished apartment...and get a fresh start in life. BFB has also delivered over 600 Christmas trees (covered by TV news).

Kathy Jones works tirelessly, often 6 days/week until 7 or 8pm, without compensation!

BFB NEEDS to replace a 2005 F-150 truck w/270,000 miles so homeless families moving into an apartment (fresh start) will have furnishings and beds to sleep on. An F-150 with ~100,000 miles costs ~$13,000-$15,000, plus tax & dealer fees).

BFB also needs a 6' x 12' trailer ($1,700 - $2,000) to minimize the number of trips, mileage, and wear and tear on the truck. Additional monthly expenses include truck insurance ($100) and a 10'x10' storage unit ($160), plus: day laborers, gas, tires, and maintenance.

I have donated a bed, furniture, linens and $100/mo. for the past 2 years. I matched the first $5,000 in contributions. Please give (tax deductible) $25, $50 or $100 to help the needy...who are taking steps to better themselves!

Motor has finally arrived to the ship after six long weeks of patiently waiting. It’s been paid for through the funds donated this far. The repair bill to install is $1400 which is almost covered. It will need tires and they will check brakes because it’s been sitting so long with zero activity. This truck will help hundreds of families get the furniture and household items they need to start their lives over. This is a Community truck. I make zero dollars helping others every Penny goes into gas, repairs and maintenance. I would greatly appreciate any amount of donations to help this truck get back on the road to continue blessing families in need with a hand up. Thank you to all the donors so far and to all those who will donate in the near future. I do have a Non Profit Blessings for Brevard, Inc. You can get a tax donation receipt if you need. I do not have a website as I don’t know how to do one but I work off several Facebook groups locally. 

 Update: Motor was purchased and ordered. Waiting for its arrival To Classic Automotive in West Melbourne. I need help covering the repair cost. $1400. Any amount Will help is reach this goal. I appreciate each and every person who can help me get this truck back on the road to help this community daily!

My truck which is used daily to get furniture to families in need is broken down. I pick up and deliver household items, clothing, food and whatever a family needs to get through hard times.

I put many miles on this truck and it needs a motor. I can’t afford to buy another truck and it’s much cheaper to replace this engine. I really need financial help to pay the mechanic who will do this hard work. We found a couple of motors that will have zero miles and comes with a 75,000 mile warranty. This will be the cheapest way to get this truck up and running again. I love helping my community every day and it’s such a blessing to see an empty apartment filled within days by donations from all my neighbors in Brevard County. I coordinate pick ups and then deliver to a family who doesn’t have a way to get these belongings to make their empty place into a home. If you don’t know what all I do for others I will gladly share all the wonderful stories. My Christmas Tree Project (I do this every year to make sure families have a tree and decorations) will be starting the end of October and I have to get my truck up and running to make this happen this year again.
