ARTS FOR ALL: The Artists Avenue Scholarship Campaign
At The Artists Avenue, a program under Blessed to Bless Community Development Corporation (B2B CDC), we’re on a mission to ignite creativity, cultivate confidence, and champion accessible arts education for the next generation of performers.
We believe in the transformative power of the performing arts—and the lasting impact it has on the lives of young people. Through theatre, our students gain more than just artistic training. They develop confidence, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication skills that empower them far beyond the stage.
As Bayonne’s only non-school-affiliated musical theatre program, we are proud to offer high-quality, inclusive arts education—especially to BIPOC youth and families who may not otherwise have access. We're committed to removing financial barriers so that every young artist, regardless of income, has the opportunity to grow and shine.
Why We Need You — All Year Long
Each season, we receive heartfelt scholarship applications from students eager to join our program—but not all can afford tuition. After 10 incredible years of service, we’ve reached a point where we need the support of our community to keep accessible arts education alive and thriving.
Your support—whether through a donation, sponsorship, or grant—makes this possible. It allows us to hire professional teaching artists, produce high-caliber performances, and create a safe, inclusive space where young people can explore who they are and what they’re capable of.
Ways to Give — Make a Direct Impact
With GoFundMe transaction fees included, your donation helps us provide full coverage for each scholarship and ensure no student is turned away:
The Artists Avenue Journey Scholarship – $1,450
Covers full tuition plus workshops/masterclasses for 1 student
Recipients: 2 → Total: $2,900
Full-Year Tuition Scholarship – $850
Covers one student’s tuition for the year
Recipients: 3 → Total: $2,550
✨ Half-Year Tuition Scholarship – $425
Covers one student’s tuition for half the year
Recipients: 1 → Total: $425
One-Month Boost – $85
Helps a student stay enrolled for one month or offsets fees for a family in need
Recipients: 5 → Total: $425
Total Fundraising Goal: $6,300
Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping a child experience the joy, growth, and opportunity that theatre brings.
