Empower Black Children: End the Pipeline
Hello, my name is Rev. Janelle Wood, Founder & CEO of Black Mothers Forum, and I am passionate about creating equitable educational opportunities for Black pre-K through 12th grade students who are often pushed out and left behind in traditional school settings.
At the Black Mothers Forum, we are committed to addressing the systemic challenges facing our youth, particularly the troubling school-to-prison pipeline that disproportionately affects our communities. In response to this urgent need, we are establishing MicroSchools designed to provide safe, supportive, and sustainable learning environments where every child can thrive.
Our MicroSchools are more than just educational institutions; they represent a transformative shift from the school-to-prison pipeline to what we call the "school-to-purpose pipeline." We believe that every child deserves the chance to discover their potential and pursue their dreams without the barriers that many face in conventional schooling.
To expand this vision, we are raising funds to expand our MicroSchools, ensuring that we can serve more students and provide the resources necessary for their success. Your support will help us create an environment where children feel valued, engaged, and empowered to become the leaders of tomorrow.
Join us in making a difference and helping our students realize their full potential. Together, we can change the narrative and build a brighter future for our children.
Thank you for your support!
