Black Empowerment for Environmental Sustainability (BEES) is dedicated to the promotion of social and environmental justice movements and initiatives through the arts. More specifically, BEES seeks to use the arts to create social and cultural experiences (such as showcases, festivals, and workshops) that promote awareness of social and environmental justice and encourage/empower greater civic engagement in historically underserved and disadvantaged communities.
