TMA Fundraiser For Veterans Golf Simulator
TMA Friend of The Show and Birdies 4 Bipolar chairman Michael Wellington is caddying for St. Louisan Chris Naegel this week at The US Open.
Wellington will wear a TMA hat while he is out on the course.
And we want to thank him for showing support of the show by raising money for Birdies 4 Bipolar.
A project near and dear to the heart of Wellington is the Birdies 4 Bipolar Veterans Golf Simulator for The Arlington Greens Veterans Golf Association.
Twenty-two veterans take their own life every day in America. 22. That’s a staggering number. Seasonal winter-time depression is one of the main catalysts for the suicide of these heroes.
The Arlington Greens Veterans Golf Association has thrived in the spring, summer & fall months. Now they will be able to thrive during the winter months.
Birdies4Bipolar will create an indoor golf simulator space to help Gateway Veterans handle seasonal depression by using golf as recreational therapy.
