BINA Farm Veterans Programs Fund
The owners and staff at Charles Street Liquors and our six Boston area The UPS Stores are reaching out to all our customers, friends, and family asking you to help us achieve our goal to raise $15,000 for BINA Farm Center's Veteran Services including their "Healing With Horses" program.
BINA Farm Center (BFC) is a local nonprofit* organization located in Lexington, MA. BFC provides comprehensive therapeutic and recreational Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapies, for children and adults with physical, developmental and emotional challenges.
The money we raise here will help BFC to continue providing these amazing equine assisted services Free of Charge to both Veterans and Active Military. These funds will help with:
- Scholarships for Veterans
- Purchase of additional Horse
- Care and Upkeep of horses
Please help us honor those who have given so much!
The results of this fundraiser will be presented to BINA Farm Center at their annual fundraiser in November, so please help us now to make it one heck of a surprise gift!
BFC was started nine years ago by very good friends of ours right here in Boston and I know that many of you know them also. They do amazing work for people who are differently-abled and it has been a privilege to help and support BFC. Supporting and volunteering at BINA Farm has become one of the most rewarding things we have all done in our lives.
The "Healing With Horses" program uses both mounted and un-mounted equine-assisted activities in a safe and peaceful environment. Participants will learn to become competent horsemen and women who are able to safely handle, care for and ride horses. In the process, they will regain confidence, build relationships with animals and humans, and experience the joy and pleasure in an activity that offers so many therapeutic benefits while also improving quality of life.
Another ongoing goal of this program is to encourage and train all participants to return as volunteers and mentors to help support programs, both with other veterans and with our students with special needs.
Now more than ever our veterans need to know we care and support them. Please help us to give back to our veterans who have given so much for us.
