Hi, I’m Dina Davis, founder of The Billionaire Learning Academy & Knowledge Centre (BLAKC). I created BLAKC because I know what it feels like to struggle. I was raised by my mother and grandmother who worked tirelessly to provide for me and my brother . My mother did the best she could . She was an Army veteran who later became disabled and when I was just 19 years old, she passed away.
That loss left me without a safety net, forced to navigate life alone, and deeply aware of how lack of access to resources can hold people back. But my story doesn’t end there.
I made a commitment that no child, no family, and no individual in my community should have to face the same struggles I did. That was the fuel I needed and some years later in my life, I founded BLAKC to break generational poverty and create opportunities for success that I didn't have growing up.
What We’re Raising Funds For
At BLAKC, we provide education, mentorship, career development, financial literacy, and school readiness programs to equip families and individuals with the tools they need to thrive. The funds raised will directly support:
- The Future Billionaire Back-to-School Bash – Providing hundreds of children with fully stocked backpacks, school supplies, and an uplifting event to prepare them for the school year.
- Learn More, Live More Initiative – Offering mentorship, leadership training, and personal development programs to empower individuals of all ages.
- CommuniRise – A platform created to helping underserved communities gain economic stability.
- Pathway to College Night – Connecting students and families with educational opportunities, scholarships, and career resources to make higher education more accessible.
Why This Matters
Many families in our community are fighting just to make ends meet, let alone afford the rising costs of school supplies or career training. Studies show that the average back-to-school costs are now $597 per child, leaving many students unprepared for success. Parents are even going into debt to cover these expenses.
For some, a backpack, mentorship, or financial education might seem small, but to a struggling family, it can mean hope, confidence, and a path to a brighter future.
