Big Dogs Huge Paws was founded on the core philosophy is that every "BIG" dog deserves a chance. Our goal is to make sure that every dog receives only the best of care, food, and training. Because of the pandemic, nonprofits have lost the ability to host traditional yearly fundraising events like galas and fun runs, so we have gotten creative with our fundraising…literally.
If you are anything like us, you probably have tons of pictures of your pets on your phone. Wouldn’t it be nice to turn your favorite pet photo into a fun keepsake? For a $15 donation per portrait, we have a group of volunteers who will help bring your photo to life in an artistic way. The artist may be a child or an adult, professional artist, or an aspiring one, but either way you’ll end up with a unique, memorable portrait of your favorite furry family member.
Artwork will be emailed to you as a photo or scan!
How to Participate
1. Donate: Each pet portrait is a minimum donation of $15. Complete the donation by clicking on the “Donate” button.
2. Email your pet photo: We are having trouble with people being able to upload their pet photo to the comments section on this page. So once you have given your donation, please email your pet photo(s) to the email address listed in the UPDATES section below. (Go Fund Me won't let me post the address in this space for some reason). All pets are celebrated, so it does not have to be a dog.
3. Enjoy your masterpiece: Each picture is hand drawn by one of our volunteer artists, and will be delivered to you via email. Your email address will only be used to communicate about your portrait for this fundraiser.
Please allow at least 7-14 business days to receive your portrait.
