Here at WTW we have an aspiration to build a company culture where employees are trusted and encouraged to BE BOLD. It's an aspiration to be proud of, and one that really motivates me.
On the 30th of March I will fulfil a Boyhood Dream by participating in the Tour of Flanders in Belgium – probably the Greatest Bike Race on the Planet. And featuring 237km across its famous cobbled climbs, it’s also one of the most challenging. The pro race on the Sunday is the main event, but on the Saturday, enthusiasts like me get to ride the course...
A BE BOLD culture relies on LEADERS who Enable you, who Empower you, who instill Trust and Self-belief, and who embrace Diversity of Thought. Leaders who make us Feel Big in their presence.
During my 20-year WTW tenure I have had the privilege of serving many such leaders and colleagues, across every level of the organization. And as this experience will be such a special one for me, I wish to do something to express my gratitude to them, and to hopefully also pass on some of the same good fortune to emerging talent.
