Help Us Document Betty Dodson's Life Story
My name is Carlin Ross and I had the honor of working with Betty Dodson and seeing her off the planet. Betty was a trailblazing second-wave sex-positive feminist who became an international best-selling author and one of the principle voices for women's sexual equality. She was an icon and my north star.
Working together for the last decade of her life, gave me a unique perspective on who Betty was and what she'd learned. Ours was a once-in-a-lifetime partnership. We published her memoir, relaunched her Bodysex workshops, and appeared on Goop's Netflix series right before her passing. She entrusted her legacy to me and I want to tell her story.
Recently, I launched an audio podcast series "BAD Stories" (for Betty Anne Dodson). There are 12 episodes available on bettydodson.com . I'm raising money to take each of these episodes and create a documentary video series. I envision 20 minute episodes with archived video/pictures, pages from Betty's journal, her fine art works - everything that she created.
