Bedfordshire County Scout Council

Hi Everyone,

I’m Evie Todhunter, a 12-year-old Scout from Bedfordshire. I have been selected to represent Bedfordshire Scouts (Unit 13) for the World Scout Jamboree 2027 in Poland, joining 50,00 young Scouts and Explorers from around the world!

I am honoured to have been chosen as one of only 36 Scouts from the whole of the Bedfordshire area.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that would provide me with life skills, like teamwork, resilience, leadership, confidence and cultural awareness, and I am so excited to be given this chance.

In order to attend I need to fundraise £3,500!! This amount will cover my travel, kit, food, insurance, camping, activities and any preparation events I need to attend.

I’m planning on fundraising through events at my school, by holding cookie sales and mufti days, craft stalls and other activities with the Scouts, Cubs and Beaver troops in my area, but I need all the help I can get!

Any small amount you can donate would be very much appreciated and if possible please share my fundraising page with as many people as you can.

Thank you so much for supporting my journey!

Evie x

Hi! I’m Rory from Aspley Guise Scout group.

I've been selected as one of 36 young people to represent Bedfordshire at the World Scout Jamboree in Poland 2027 — a once-in-a-lifetime international scouting adventure that brings together young people from around the world to learn from each other, camp and to have fun!

To make this dream a reality, I need to raise £3,500 to cover costs such as travel, accommodation and activity costs. Some of the money raised will also pay for less fortunate scouts and explorers from around the world to attend to try and ensure it is as global an event as possible.

To fundraise, I'm going to be taking part in lots of group events and individual activities, from bag-packing at supermarkets and running stalls at community fayres to grass cutting and babysitting. We have already started with some Christmas 2025 events!

Every donation, big or small, brings me one step closer to this incredible opportunity. If you’d like to support me on this journey, I’d be truly grateful. Thank you for helping me take part in something unforgettable!

In the summer of 2027, 36 young people (aged 14–17) and 4 leaders from Bedfordshire Scouts will head to Gdańsk, Poland, for the World Scout Jamboree.

This isn't just a trip; it’s a life-changing adventure. Our contingent will join 45,000 Scouts from every corner of the globe for two weeks of cultural immersion, global friendship, and unforgettable experiences.

We are seeking your support to help these young people reach Poland. Every donation, no matter the size, will aid the fundraising effort to participate in this unique global event.

Thank you for helping us make this incredible journey a reality!
