Want to join me in saving rural quality of life, wildlife, wetlands, forests, the Geneva Bubble and the Econ River in Seminole County?
I'm raising $20,000 to offset Geneva Citizens Association's and Bear Warriors United's legal costs involving the 'Yarborough Ranch' sprawl development that mega-corporation PULTE is trying to dump onto agriculture lands and cram in wildlife habitat between Chuluota and Geneva--IN THE RURAL BOUNDARY.
In 2008, former Seminole County Commissioner Brenda Carey snuck through a development order with a hastily produced plat in a consent agenda item. Along with that improperly adopted development order and inconsistent plat, there is a plethora of items that are shady and outright WRONG with this sprawl housing project.
Donating to this GoFundMe will help Geneva Citizens Association and Bear Warriors United pay for the required legal representation to file appeals and lawsuits which will #StopTheSprawl, #SaveTheRuralBoundary, and prevent Seminole County government from enacting a dangerous and catastrophic precedent. If Seminole County allows Pulte to cram this sprawl IN the Rural Boundary, it will be the proverbial 'camel's nose under the tent'...and the end of the Rural Boundary.
If you are unable to donate, please contact the Seminole County Commissioners with your concerns, your comments of opposition and/or your support to put that land into permanent conservation.
