HELP! Tiny dog needs tumors removed!!!!
Recently rescued, this 4.6 lb tiny terrier was suffering from severe neglect. Hadassah has horrible dental disease and two mammary masses that require surgery ASAP!!! We are very hopeful that the masses will be benign, the end of her surgical journey and the beginning of an amazing new life. In order to find a home she needs these procedures and we cannot help her until we raise the funds. We are overwhelmed with cats and kittens, and we could not let this little one take her chances or go through the trauma of the city shelter.

This tiny girl was about to be surrendered at a police station when the rescuer was passing by. A few seconds difference, and we would not have seen this little girl be taken inside. She was soaked in urine and so matted she could barely walk. The hair had grown around and through her harness, who knows how long she had been in such a state!!

While she is only 8 years old and very feisty and active, her teeth are black and so bad that she has a hard time eating. In her short time with us she has shown she prefers fish and vegetables to poultry and does NOT like peanut butter! We are so excited to see who she is when she isn’t living in constant pain!
After a bath and de-matting and she could not have been more joyful, dancing around and rolling over belly up. It took a few sessions of cutting away all the gnarled hair to be able to tell this was indeed a little girl -with a black fungal infection on her belly.

Her first visit to the vet was over $300. All her labs came back great and she is healthy and strong for surgery once we get a little more weight on her. To do all the procedures she needs, get her properly groomed, vaccinated and medicated for fleas will cost close to $2300. This includes having her masses sent out for testing and as many teeth cleaned or removed as needed.
Please help us help her. And if you cannot donate, please share her story to help her on her journey home!! She is absolutely darling and so worthy of all the wonders of the world!!
Hadassah means myrtle tree, eternally green it symbolizes resilience, vitality, beauty, peace and joy. All of this and more we wish for this darling girl who will never be neglected or tossed away again!!!
