Help Little Brook Farm and Its Horses!
Hi, my name is Clementine, I am twelve years old and I am raising money for Little Brook Farm in Old Chatham, NY. They are one of the oldest horse rescues/sanctuaries in the United States. They rescue horses from slaughter, abandonment, abuse, and neglect. Currently, there is a horse named Benny who has been very sick. She is slowly getting better but at the beginning, she had to be watched at all times. Because of this, volunteers and interns had to stay with her all night. They would take turns sleeping on hay and watching Benny, and Little Brook's founder Lynn Cross had to take trips back and forth in the middle of the night for weeks. The money that I raise will help Little Brook purchase, install, and maintain a camera system within the stables. This would help so much because they could just check on the horses from their phones anytime, anywhere.
*Special Gift: People who donate $36 (a multiple of chai) or more have the option to get a hand painted horseshoe! They can get it customized with anyone's name whether it's theirs or a horse's. The person with the highest donation will get the grand prize of Abe’s giant horseshoe. Abe is a much-loved and extremely tall horse at Little Brook (19 hands tall)!
