We've been robbed. The celebrations, rituals, and everything else that closes out the past four years have been taken from us, and it hurts. However...
We can still leave this chapter of our lives on a positive note! Now, more than ever, is a time where we can come together and make a difference.
Think about the money, time, and energy that would've been put into things like prom and graduation. With just an ounce of that same creativity, our class can help provide the community with resources to help deal with the current crisis.
If just 3/4 of the senior class was to donate the same amount that a prom ticket would have cost, $30, that would be $7500. The goal is set at $3000 to remind people that whatever we raise will have impacts beyond what we can imagine.
For those who aren't seniors but are also members of the community, consider giving a contribution in celebration of the class of 2020. BYS is an organization that now, more than ever, supports students/young adults with navigating life at this age successfully. Let's do what we can to make the end of our senior year equally as meaningful as what they do for us.
