About Back To Basics, Inc. (Back to Basics)
Back to Basics has been enriching the lives of underprivileged elementary school aged children in Palm Beach County for 40 years. Our mission is to enable children to attend school with dignity and be ready to learn, by providing new uniforms, sneakers, socks and underwear. There are two distinct programs in our organization: The Angel Program, established in 1984, supplies students with sneakers, socks, underwear and a new toy, each December. The Uniform Program, established in 2001, furnishes new school uniforms, tops and bottoms, at the start of each school year. The growth of these programs has been exponential. At their inception, 30 students were assisted by Back to Basics programs and today we serve more than 20,000 students. Our goal is to continue meeting the expanding need. We be
