Help Austin Striders make a difference in Austin
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Amateur Athletic Union of the United States Inc (Austin Striders Track Club), and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
Established in 1978, the Austin Striders Track Club serves the Austin community by providing opportunities for youth to train and compete in track and field with discipline and purpose. We develop young athletes mentally and physically and prepare them for college competition.
The world is a complex place, filled with temptation and misinformation. We provide positive alternatives, we foster self-esteem, encourage healthy choices, and train rigorously to help our athletes achieve their goals. Since 1978 the Austin Striders has helped earn college scholarships, in all sports, for more than 500 student athletes.
None of these accomplishments would be possible without the generosity of our community and our 100% volunteer coaching staff.
Every single donation will be used to pay for the registration of athletes who’s families cannot afford registration, uniforms, equipment, meet registration, insurance, transportation and lodging to our various competitions as well as provide funds to plan for the future. This summer we’re planning to take over 70 athletes to AAU Club Championships in Orlando, FL and AAU Junior Olympics in Greensboro, NC With your help, we can get these promising young people the help they need.
