Help Racheal Hurst and Her Family Begin the Road to Recovery
On the night of July 25, 2026, our dear friend Racheal Hurst was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident that has forever changed the lives of her and her family.
Racheal is currently receiving critical care and fighting through unimaginable injuries. We will continue to share updates as they become available, while being as respectful as possible to the Hurst family's privacy. While Racheal begins the long journey toward healing, her family is facing overwhelming emotional and financial challenges.
Racheal's husband, Casey Hurst, is a dedicated City of Atlanta firefighter who has spent his career serving and protecting others. Now, he is focused on being by his wife's side while caring for their two beautiful children, Reagan (11) and Ford (5), as they navigate this heartbreaking time together.
Atlanta Professional Fire Foundation, an organization led by City of Atlanta firefighters, have created this fundraiser on behalf of the Hurst family. Casey has shared that the family will need all the support they can get in the difficult weeks and months ahead.
Your generosity will help ease the financial burden so the family can focus on what matters most—Racheal's recovery. Donations will help cover:
*Medical expenses not covered by insurance
*Everyday living expenses while Racheal is unable to work and her family adjusts to this new reality
*Childcare and support for Reagan and Ford
*Future rehabilitation and medical equipment
*Modifications to the Hurst's home to assist in Racheal's recovery when she is able to return.
No family ever expects to face a tragedy like this, but together we can remind the Hursts that they are not facing it alone.

We provide financial assistance for Illness, Injury, PTSD, Line of Duty Death and Bereavement. We also fund Tuition Reimbursement, Training, Living Condition Improvements, Affordable Housing and Fellowship Events.
