Hi, I'm April Sutton, and I'm reaching out to you to support the incredible work of the My Sister’s House under Atlanta Mission. My Sister’s House is an overnight shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness. We provide a safe and healthy environment in which women and children can recover and grow from past experiences that may have contributed towards their present circumstances and work towards healthy relationships with God, themselves, and others, as well as sustainable income and housing. I am hosting and leading a Women Only Hyrox Class on March 8th to not only raise awareness for the incredible work Atlanta Mission with My Sister’s House but also build community amongst like minded folks women for International Women’s Day. Here are just a couple of ways your contributions will help:

Hey, y'all! Every year during my birthday month, I hold a fundraising campaign for Atlanta Mission, which has resulted in $8,100+ raised since 2018. This year, I would like to raise $1,000 for the Mission!

Atlanta Mission is the city’s largest and longest-running provider of services to homeless men, women, and children. They provide emergency shelter, residential discipleship, job attainment, and transitional housing for more than 1,000 people on a daily basis. Their work centers around transforming, through Christ, the lives of those facing homelessness.

To connect people with service opportunities, my church (Buckhead Church) has formed ongoing relationships with nonprofits and civic entities around Atlanta, of which Atlanta Mission is a part. I have volunteered with the Mission through church small groups over the years, so the work they do at the Mission is important to me.

Hopefully, you will consider contributing as a way to celebrate my birthday this year, and just like years past, I will match ALL donations y'all make. All funds raised through GoFundMe are sent directly to the Mission and should be tax-deductible. Every little bit will help us reach this goal and will make a huge difference in the lives of the people served through the Atlanta Mission!

For years I have imagined a way to apply my love of running to a worthwhile cause.

On September 13th, a few of us will be running 8 consecutive hours around a one mile track.
