Athlete Ally

Hi y'all!

Earlier this year, I was talking with some friends about our resolutions and goals for this year, and I didn't have one. But this year is big for me - I'm turning 30 on October 8th, and I decided I needed to set a goal to celebrate.

That's why I'm dedicated myself to running 365 miles over the course of 12 months, aiming for 30 miles a month (with an extra 5 during the month of October) to raise money for Athlete Ally.

As a proud trans athlete, I've been feeling helpless and hopeless while trans athletes' rights have been under attack in the United States. I'm fortunate enough to have the support of my friends, family, and community, but many others aren't. Without sports, I wouldn't be the person I am today. And I can't imagine losing access to something that's become a fundamental part of me.

So for every 1 mile I run, I'm donating $1 to Athlete Ally to support their goals:

-educating athletes, educators, and administrators in LGBTQ+ equality

-campaigning for international sports governing bodies to adopt trans-inclusive policies

-supporting LGBTQ+ athletes everywhere

Whether you want to match my donation goal or send a one-time amount, I appreciate every bit you can help me raise to support other people like me. I wouldn't be who I am without your love and support.
