Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America

We have seen tragedies before. Earthquakes, heat waves, tsunamis. Nothing, however, matches what is going on in Pakistan right now. 33 million people have been displaced by the immense monsoons erupting throughout the Sindh Province. A 100 km wide flood has killed more than a thousand people and has put 33 million into direct jeopardy, 16 million of them being children. Millions of kids, already suffering from lack of education, malnutrition, and poverty, are now even more afflicted than they already were. The floods have destroyed fields, schools, homes, and so much more. How can we sit by and let this happen? How is it that Americans can silently observe when one of the world's most apocalyptic events is killing thousands and oppressing millions?

Think about what you have and then think about what these children have. I'm not asking for thousands of dollars in donations. Even an amount as low as 5 dollars would provide loads of meals, put on tons of smiles, and yield an abundance of hope to these misfortuned Pakistani children.

This money will be going to the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America, which will directly relay it into supplies for the afflicted Pakistanis, such as food, school supplies for children, and first aid kits.
