We are Comforting Companions, a student-run organization committed to supporting animal welfare in partnership with Ashburn’s Animals, a dedicated animal rescue shelter in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.

Ashburn's Animals is on a mission to give animals with difficult pasts a second chance at life. Specializing in rescuing animals from poor conditions, Ashburn’s provides the necessary rehabilitation to prepare them for new, loving homes. But their commitment extends beyond animal rescue—Ashburn’s Animals is also deeply rooted in helping the local community. By offering therapeutic services, they create healing connections between animals and individuals in need, fostering hope and compassion for animals and people alike.
