ARMS WIDE OPEN

Hi Friends, 

We are raising money for Arms Wide Open because, like many small businesses, the studio has had to temporarily close their doors to keep everyone safe and to help slow the spread of the Covid-19 virus.  This extended closure has significantly decreased their income which affects their ability to pay rent on the studio, utility bills, and salaries for the instructors.

 Arms Wide Open is a successful special needs performing arts program. They offer weekly classes at their studio but also put on a spectacular theatrical production every year which can include up to 100 special needs performers!  However, AWO is so much more than just a performing arts group for special needs individuals.  It's a place of understanding, acceptance, and friendship.  It's a place where differences are expected and small accomplishments are celebrated.  AWO is a home and a safe place for many of these kids and adults. It is a place where they are comfortable being themselves.  Arms Wide Open is a family.  That is why we're asking for your donations, to help Arms Wide Open get through these difficult financial times, so when this is all over, they will still be around to provide classes, shows, education, and support for our kids.

We are hoping to raise $15,000 because this amount would help cover the studio's expenses for two months.
