We have big goals and invite you to help us build our legacy as the premier women’s Rugby team in Arizona. After a long road this season full of hard work, TWRC won the SCRFU D1 Women's Championship. We are now headed to the National Championship in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 20-22. Your donation will help us get there!
HOW IS THIS MONEY USED?
As a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status, all donations to Tempe Women’s Rugby Club are tax deductible. All money donated will go to helping the TWRC Team compete at the 2022 USA National D1 Rugby Championship this May. Costs to cover include:
• Renting fields for practice and games
• Supplementing travel costs (hotels, gas, flights, etc.)
• Scholarships for players needing assistance with dues
Who We Are
Tempe Women’s Rugby is committed to high-level competition through hard work, dedication, and an ever-growing passion for the sport of rugby. The club culture consists of a competitive attitude and focus, cultural diversity, body acceptance and most importantly, team camaraderie. A diverse group of current and alumni players, our team ranges in age from 18 to 40, and includes active-duty military, teachers, scientists, students, and engineers. We pride ourselves on our commitment to creating an open and inclusive environment.
Tempe Women’s Rugby Club is part of a larger network of teams under the Tempe Rugby Club umbrella. Tempe is well known throughout North America as a competitive, tenacious, organized, and well-coached Club, with a long history of success. Tempe is a grassroots Club comprised of a particularly diverse group of members, which embody a One Club / One Vision approach to its organizational vision, mission, values, and strategy. Supporting TWRC means supporting this larger vision and all the teams associated with Tempe Rugby.
