Camp ALOMA

We are back! 2021 has been such an amazing year, full of change and growth, but most importantly community!We are so THANKFUL for all the support and encouragement we received through last year's fundraiser. It was truly a blessing to the camp's ministry. 


Though camp is still bouncing back from COVID-19, we are excited to share that we were able to have summer camp this year and our group rentals have started to pick up again! Winter has always been a slower period for camp, but we like to take that time to work on projects that require camp to be still. This year we will be starting Faith lodge's kitchen renovation, which means we will have to shut down the camp's main lodge for at least a month. The money raised during this fundraiser will provide comfort in knowing that bills are covered during this renovation, but it will also help us move forward in future programs and projects. Here are just some of the things we hope to accomplish!

-Funding for camp scholarships

-Adding new programs such as ax throwing, laser lag, and high ropes courses

-Year round intern funding 

-Nurses building , along with other building renovations

-Marketing material

-Fire prevention maintenance. 



We are just so THANKFUL to have another year to keep sharing God's word and love through ALOMAs ministry. None of this would even be possible without your support, continued prayer, and God's blessings.

Camp ALOMA is raising funds for our newest renovation project: updating Faith Lodge. If you’ve ever been to camp ALOMA, chances are you’ve spent time in Faith Lodge. This building is our main facility: the lower level serves as dining hall and houses the majority of our cabin living spaces. The upper level contains our main offices, storage spaces, and community recreation areas. For many, it is the first building they enter when visiting camp, and it is the building where they spend the most of their time. Faith Lodge has opened its doors and acted as a space of fellowship, meal sharing, sleep, community building, and faith encounters for countless visitors. Over the past 47 years, hundreds of people have spent time in Faith Lodge for summer camp sessions, weekend retreats, and a whole host of other yearly events. With that comes considerable wear and tear. It’s high time that Faith Lodge received some well-deserved renovations. We are raising funds to update the floor and bathroom areas of the lower level. The money raised will help cover the costs of hiring a scraper to remove the old linoleum flooring in order to replace it with new commercial grade flooring and trim. Funds will also cover the purchase and installation of new bathroom mirrors, vanities, stall walls, and bathroom tiling. We will also be making renovations to make our lower level bathrooms wheelchair accessible. That’s a lot for one project! Faith Lodge truly is the heart of Camp ALOMA, so let’s show it some love by raising funds to keep the building up and running! It is our hope that these renovations will allow Faith Lodge to continue welcoming visitors to camp for many years to come. Like many other businesses, ALOMA was financially hit really hard by the COVID pandemic. Missing the entirety of our busy season, we are now experiencing a slow winter. Even though times have been tough we are still so THANKFUL for this space and community that God has provided. We are THANKFUL for all that God has allowed for us to accomplish during this season. During the month of November many staff, campers, and families have been sharing why they are #thankfulforaloma. It has been so encouraging to read their messages and see how God has moved in their lives. There are so many ways to help during this fundraiser such as sharing the link, reaching out with marketing ideas, sharing a #thankfulalomamoment,and donating if you feel the Lord moving you to do so.
