ARDS Foundation

In loving memory of the man, the myth, the legend, Joe Falcone. We want to raise funds for Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).

The ARDS Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting patients and families faced with the horrific diagnosis of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). As per the ARDS Foundation: 200,000 Americans each year are diagnosed with ARDS, anywhere from 35% to almost 50% of those diagnosed do not survive. They are dedicated to increasing awareness about this little-known syndrome; too many people are unaware of this deadly syndrome that strikes without warning, suddenly and quickly. Increasing public awareness is instrumental in raising funds for the ARDS Foundation to continue to support this community vigorously. ARDS Foundation also partners with medical professions to facilitate research projects.

Family and friends will gather on October 23, 2021, to host a Sandlot game in Joe's honor, just like old times.

Precautions for the COVID guidelines in New York State will be in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all players and spectators.
